TCH handcuffs are made in the UK to the highest industry standards using best materials available. The TCH850B offers the perfect combination of the power and control you get from a standard rigid cuff and compact mobility of a more traditional folding or chain handcuff. Once deployed the cuffs lock firmly in to their rigid position, this can only be released using the included standard issue handcuff key. Now available with a tactical black finish.
- 3 independently moving ratchet bars
- 6 teeth on each bar
- Locking positions - 25
- 17% larger internal circumference than standard models
- Rotating arm backloads for speed cuffing
- Precision engineering ensures rotating arm swings through the handcuff, engaging the ratchet bars every time
- Double locking mechanism
- Two standard keys are provided with each handcuff
- Full compliance with the strength requirements of N.I.J Standard 0307.01
These are exceptionally high quality handcuffs. The distance between the bracelets is a bit longer than that of the 840 series rigid handcuffs, which "may" make it more uncomfortable for some people in a rear-stack position.
These came in black, as expected. The black is really nice but I feel I should tell you that you must clean and condition them regularly if you are using them in a professional context, out and about. These will rust very easily. I messed around with mine for a short time and put them in a pelican case. I came back to them 4 weeks later and the inside of the bracelets that touch skin had an orange coating of rust. I ran my finger around the interior and it was all coming off. So please clean and oil these cuffs, where ever skin contacts the metal at least.
