The original LOWA Zephyr is legendary, it has been used by military and law enforcement the world over and now the best just got better. The ultimate exersize and operational boot, the Zephyr GTX MK2 provides a unique combination of agility, lightness and stability that isn't found anywhere else. The mid sized upper provides greater range of movement, with additional protection on the medial side of the boot providing the support required when fast roping into action.

The upper is made from a combination of water repellent and tear resistant suede and abrasion resistant and breathable Cordura materal. The GORE-TEX lining provides protection from the wet and cold weather and the unique dual layer PU midsole with MONOWRAP surrounds, supports and protects the foot like an exoskeleton. The X-TRAC Military sole provides optimal slip protection on slick, wet and oily surfaces, as well as good grip on terrain.

The two-zone lacing system used in the LOWA ZEPHYR MK2 GTX® MID means the forefoot and upper have their own separate adjustable lacing zones. As a result, the boot can be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced in different ways for ascents and descents.

These LOWA boots are EN ISO 20347 certified and are classified as occupational footwear. This means that at the very least they can be expected to offer a reasonable degree of protection against oil, water, and penetrative forces.
