Details
Designed and made in Britain, the original fish 200 was launched in 1989. It uses unique guides to force material onto and along a surgical steel blade and into a deepening valley. The narrowing channel focuses the cutting force more effectively than an ordinary cutting blade providing a much higher cutting force with very little effort.
The fish knife has many uses, ranging from a rescue tool / seatbelt cutter to a box opener but is used extensively in the NHS as a safe guard against ligature risk in secure healthcare facilities. In these instances, staff can secure the knife on their person using both the integral lanyard point and protec belt pouch which can be purchased seperately. This ensures it is on hand at all times, saving valuable seconds in an emergency situation.
