Safe Search Container Strap
Unsafe loads in containers pose a significant risk to any person opening the doors. Whilst loads are secure for the majority of transport journeys, any load can become unsafe at any time for a variety of reasons:
Accidents
Sudden unavoidable movements of the vehicle
Internal security straps failing
Sometimes a simple oversight when loading
The Safe Search Container Strap is a simple solution that can be strapped to the container doors to prevent them from fully opening by falling cargo. A breaking load of 800kgs gives any operator enough time to vacate the drop zone preventing unnecessary injury.
The apparatus comes complete with a belt pouch so it can be easily carried and is always accessible.
The safe search straps were developed in conjunction with HM Customs and Excise Officers and have proven to be a success.
